Terms and conditions

  • The IMA (Intelligent Membrane Association) 2025 Awards (the ‘Awards’) is owned and created by BMI Group UK Ltd, BMI House, 2 Pitfield, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. MK11 3LW (the ’Awards Owner’).
  • The Awards are open to IMA 2025 members only.
  • The Award will include the following awards categories:
    • Reinforced Bitumen Roofing
    • Liquid Applied Waterproofing
    • Eco Active Roofing (Noxite, Green Roofing) 
    • Installer of the Year
    • Large Scale Project of the Year (Over 2000 square metres)


How to enter 

  • Entries to submit a project can be made from 27th March 2025.
  • Entries can be made online at https://discovery.bmigroup.com/ima-awards-25-0.
  • All entries must be submitted in English and submitted online https://discovery.bmigroup.com/ima-awards-25-0.
  • Entries can be submitted for any roofing project using BMI Icopal systems completed by an existing IMA member only. 
  • Entries must be submitted no later than 9th May 2025. No entries will be accepted after this date.
  • BMI Group UK Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost or incomplete award entries and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of dispatch shall not be proof of entry.

Eligibility  

  • The Awards are open to Members registered in the UK, Channel Islands, or Isle of Man, Gibraltar and Republic of Ireland only. 
  • Projects that have been entered into previous IMA Awards and won an award are prohibited from entering the IMA 2025 Awards.
  • All monies outstanding for materials on the nominated project must be paid in full.

Awards

  • Entries will be judged by a panel of BMI Group UK judges. The judges reserve the right to re-classify or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of these Terms & Conditions. No feedback will be given on individual entries. In all matters, the decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  • Winners will be announced on insert date during the IMA AGM that will take place in Manchester.
  • The winners will be awarded a trophy and certificate to acknowledge their achievement.
  • By entering a project into the Awards you agree that that any winning entry may be used by BMI Group UK Limited for commercial purposes including within publicity and marketing, and that you will participate in interviews and photographs with media. By entering the Awards you agree to such use without restriction or condition. BMI Group UK Limited shall be entitled to edit or amend your entry as it sees fit for these purposes.

General 

  • Award submissions from agents, third parties or consumer groups will not be accepted.

By submitting an entry into the IMA Awards 2025, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, and to the use of personal information in accordance with BMI Group UK Limited’s Privacy Policy available as a link on this website https://www.bmigroup.com/uk/third-party-site-privacy-notice/

  • Any failure by the Awards Owner to carry out its obligations under these T’s&C’s shall not be deemed to be a breach of these T’s&C’s if such failure is caused by force majeure. For the purposes of these T’s&C’s, force majeure means: embargoes, wars and war-like actions, civil commotions, riots, uprisings, revolutions, acts of terrorism or other public disorders, epidemics, pandemics, fires and floods, storms, earthquakes, and other acts of God, and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Programme Owner.
  • The Awards Owner reserves the right to terminate the member’s participation in the Awards if the Member is suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through any manipulation of figures, sales, or otherwise in our opinion fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly.
  • The Awards Owner shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control.  Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, pandemics, supervening legislation, technical and computer faults, system failures, network errors, website unavailability, hacks on the system, personal computer issues, failures and malfunctions or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure or any other issue out of our reasonable control. 
  • Awards are non-transferable and are solely for the company awarded.  
  • The Awards Owner reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter or cancel the Awards and to amend these T’s&C’s at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • The Awards Owner reserves the right to amend, cancel or withdraw the competition and to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
